Adams Municipal Golf Course
Adams Golf Club is an 18-hole Championship Golf Course that was established in 1963. It measures 6745 yards from the championship tees. The course meanders through the beautiful Eastern Oklahoma terrain that is interwoven with Turkey Creek. The creek has been coffer dammed to provide beautiful ponds that come into play on 12 of the 18 holes. The fairways and rough are Bermuda grass and the greens are Pen Cross Bent for a fast pace of putting.
The practice facility offers a 25-station driving range, putting green, chipping and bunker area, and wedge range.
The course is currently closed to accommodate the completion of the planned Greens Rebuild Project.
The $2.4 million project, approved by voters in recent General Obligation Bond elections, includes the replacement of all 18 course greens along with the nursery, chipping and putting greens, and additional necessary components to upgrade the drainage and irrigation loops for each green.
To facilitate this project, the following will be effective as noted:
- All memberships, including cart, range and greens, will expire Oct. 31, 2024.
- ACH accounts will terminate Oct. 31, 2024.
- Refunds will be prorated and mailed by Dec. 1, 2024.
- The Pro Shop will close Nov. 1, 2024.
- There will be no locker room access effective Nov. 1, 2024.
- The range will be accessible on a Pay for Play basis.
- The Range Ball Dispenser will be operational; credit and debit cards will be accepted.
The project is expected to conclude, and the course will reopen in late spring or early summer 2025.
